In person sessions will last for 50 minuites.
Location will be discussed on initial booking.
All sessions will occur at a safe and confidential enviroment
How Open Counselling can help...
At Open Counselling we are happy to arrange an assessment session that will give you some guidance on how you may move forward with us or other agencies or therapists.
The assessment will take 30 minutes. Some of this time will be spent filling out the assessment paper-work; the remainder of the time will involve a discussion regarding what is troubling you.
You will never be pushed into discussing anything you are not happy to
talk about.
Short-term therapy
During the assessment we can discuss if this option is appropriate for your needs.
Short term counselling can have vast effect with issues such as sexual or marital problems, job loss, mild depression, divorce and bereavement.
If short term therapy is agreed, this does not preclude you from going on to long-term therapy should you wish to do so.
Long-term therapy
This type of therapy may be more desired by individuals experiencing drug or alcohol problems, severe depression, rape/sexual abuse, severe mental health problems, emotional abuse, domestic violence, or various other complex issues. |
